This was conceived and brought to life precisely on this principle by AworkDesign Studio – an open and versatile interior that caters to the needs of an urban family with kids. It is hardwood that shapes the interior of this serene setting where open living spaces can also be turned into ingenious and fun play zones with ease.
The interior of the house has an understated polished look with the furniture bringing in some much needed color. A large kitchen area with a smart island and a breakfast zone is connected with the pool and deck outside using a series of floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors. With dining space on one side and a wonderful sunken living area on the other the lower level seems as private as it does open.
Wooden shelves in the kitchen usher in more contrast even though they seem completely at ease thanks to the light wooden grain. With the top level housing the master bedroom along with the kids’ rooms each area feels organic spacious and almost picture-perfect. A smart yard and brilliant lighting add the final touches to this perfect idyllic suburban hub.
In a world where every second matters and our lives seem so intertwined with our clocks it is hard to truly escape from the rush and catch a quiet moment. It is often nature that offers this relaxing retreat and in California is one such fabulous getaway that connects its residents with surrounding landscape.
The street façade of the home reveals little as its gray exterior promises complete privacy. A vibrant door in orange enlivens the entrance and as you step in you will notice that the home opens up towards the rear garden with a sweeping and cheerful interior.
